nnery wastes are characterized by strong color & odor, high BOD, high pH & high dissolved salts.
This industry can cause irreversible damage to the water environment in the vicinity.
It consists of acidic and alkaline liquors, with chromium levels from 100 to 400 mg/L, sulfide levels from 200 to 800 mg/L, nitrogen levels from 200 to 1,000 mg/L.
Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) levels usually ranges from 160 to 24,000 mg/l. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) ranges from 800 to 43,000 mg/L and chloride is found in the range of 200 to 70,000 mg/L in individual streams and 5,600 to 27,000 mg/L in ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

mobile cellular systems are intended to unify the diverse systems we see today into a seamless radio infrastructure capable of offering a wide range of services in different radio environments, with the quality we
have come to expect from wire line communication networks. Since the mid-80's, studies on 3G systems have been carried out within the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), where it was called Future Public Land Mobile Telecommunication Systems (FPLMTS), lately renamed International Mobile Telecommunicatons-2000 (IMT-2000).

Electronic products are becoming miniature with improvements in integration and interconnection on the chip itself, and device ? to ? device (D?to?D) interconnections. Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is a significant contributor to D?to?D interconnection costs.

In SMT, the following are important
D-to-D interconnection costs.
Signal integrity and operating speeds.
Device- to-substrate interconnection methods.
Thermal management of the assembled package.

D-to-D interconnection costs have not decreased as much as that of the ICs. A computer-on-a-chip costs le..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

cost overhead to be commercially viable. While some analog and RF designs have been attempted in mainstream digital-only complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technologies, almost all designs that require stringent RF performance use bipolar or semiconductor technology. Silicon integrated circuit (IC) products that, at present, require modern bipolar or BiCMOS silicon technology in wired application space include the essential optical network (SONET) and synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) operating at 10 Gb/s and higher. need to retransmit signals. Most telephone company long-distance lines are now of optical fiber.

Transmission on optical fiber wire requires repeaters at distance intervals. The glass fiber requires more protection within an outer cable than copper. For these reasons and because the installation of any new wiring is labor-intensive, few communities yet have optical fiber wires or cables from the phone company's branch office to local customers (known as local loops).

Optical fiber consists of a core, cladding, and a protective outer coating, which guide light along the core by total i..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

n the center of the pipe. The plate has a rod through it connected to a handle on the outside of the valve. Rotating the handle turns the plate either parallel or perpendicular to the flow of water, shutting off the flow. It is a very robust and reliable design. However, unlike the ball valve, the plate does not rotate out of the flow of water, so that a pressure drop is induced in the flow.

There are three types of butterfly valve:
Resilient butterfly valve which has a flexible rubber seat. Working pressure up to 1.6 Mpa
High performance butterfly valve which is usually double eccentric ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]
