Basic building block of an RFID system
Consists of an antenna & a silicon chip
Silicon chip has- a radio receiver, radio modulator, control logic, some amount of memory, & a power system
Basically two types of tags-active tags and passive tags .
Also a combination of both the tags called semi-passive tags available
Tags can communicate with ay sort of a reader
But they also can be secure by asking for passwords
Information can be burned on it by the manufacturer or by the end user and can also be re-programmed
Chips can also have sensors such as pressure sensors on tag ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

termined entirely by the manner in which the device derives its power. Active tags are powered by an internal battery and are typically read/write devices. They usually contain a cell that exhibits a high power-to-weight ratio and are usually capable of operating over a temperature range of -50° C to +70° C. The use of a battery means that a sealed active transponder has a finite lifetime. However, a suitable cell coupled to suitable low power circuitry can ensure functionality for as long as ten or more years, depending upon the operating temperatures, read/wri..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

The conversion of analog to digital offers a wealth of benefits not available from AM or FM. The new digital service will offer two channel stereo sound and greatly increased frequency response in audio quality comparable to today?s analog FM.In addition, digital will greatly enhance terrestrial radio robustness, which is the ability to withstand factors such as multipath fading, environmental noise and impulse noise interference from nearby radio broad cast signals and terrain blockage for FM, as well as signal structure like reinforce concrete highway ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

ciples lighting technology based on gas discharge had been developed.

Discharge tubes
Discharge Tube is the device in which a gas conducting an electric current emits visible light. It is usually a glass tube from which virtually all the air has been removed (producing a near vacuum), with electrodes at each end. When a high-voltage current is passed between the electrodes, the few remaining gas atoms (or some deliberately introduced ones) ionize and emit coloured light as they conduct the current along the tube. T

he light originates as electrons change energy levels in the ionized ato..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]
