Introduction

Welcome to my ECE lab project report on Infrared Data Transmission. In this report, we will discuss the existing system of data transmission, its disadvantages, and propose a new system with its advantages and features to improve the communication process.

Problem Statement

The current system of data transmission using wired connections is not efficient and limits the mobility of devices. In addition, it is prone to interference and signal loss. Therefore, there is a need for a wireless data transmission system that is reliable, fast, and secure.

Existing System

The existing system of data transmission involves using wired connections such as Ethernet cables or USB cables to transfer data between devices. While this method is reliable, it has several disadvantages. Firstly, it limits the mobility of devices as they need to be physically connected to transfer data. Secondly, wired connections are prone to interference from external sources which can lead to signal loss and data corruption.

Disadvantages of the Existing System:

Proposed System

The proposed system for data transmission is through Infrared technology. Infrared data transmission involves using infrared light waves to transfer data between devices wirelessly. This method is fast, reliable, and secure, making it an ideal solution for wireless communication.

Advantages of the Proposed System
