Brief theory –
1) Definition of AND gate – an AND gate is a logic circuit, whose output becomes high ONLY WHEN ALL ITS INPUTS ARE HIGH. Its logic equation is given by –
Y = A.B

This circuit an be used for various applications such as to count products going over a belt, and for counting persons passed at a point etc
The project is done as a prototype and its Real one can display a three to ten digit numbers and can count unto thousands.
CIRCUIT EXPLANATION

The basic functions of a UART are a microprocessor interface, double buffering of transmitter data, frame generation, parity generation, parallel to serial conversion, double buffering of receiver data, parity checking, serial to parallel conversion.
