Brief theory – the process of translation of digital information into equivalent analog information is called as digital to analog conversion. Such converter is also called as decoding device. There are two types of such converters – the weighted resistor DAC and the R–2R ladder DAC.
The R–2R ladder (binary ladder) is a resistive network whose output voltage is a properl..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

it, simple clock generator can be constructed using Schmitt trigger NOT gates. A LOW value of R1 is used across first inverter to bias it near its linear region and therefore, must remain fixed. Capacitor C1 provides the necessary feedback for oscillations. It is the main component that determines the frequency of the clock and can be changed for adjusting the frequency. The diode in the circuit is used to rectify the AC signal, since negative voltages applied to the inputs of TTL ICs may damage them.

PowerKicker, a vertical cooling device using heat-pipe
based on natural convection to be used for thyristors in
railways' substations. The device features high efficiency,
non-powered operation based on natural convection and
small footprint along with the use of water that is a working
fluid of global-environment friendliness.
Concurrently with the development of power electronics
in late years, semiconductor power devices such as gate
turn-off (GTO) thyristors, thyristors and diodes are used in
railways' substations for power conversion of high output.

e R6 is used if variable resistance is zero then IC can be damaged due to amplified signal so a small resistance is used.
Output signal of op amp is given to a combination of two transistors T1 548 (NPN) & T2 (PNP) which are working as push pull amplifier. The small amplified signal by op amp is working as input signal for push pull amplifier. Push pull amplifier amplify signal to a large value with low output impedance.
Amplified signal goes to a speaker of low impedance through a capacitor C2 (4.7µF) which blocks dc voltage and also prevents from stage load to the speaker. This speaker co..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

be the largest local area network (LAN) installation anywhere. The effort required to provide a detailed description of the geometry and material composition of buildings on such a scale often causes system designers to resort to trial-and-error layouts. An alternative to relying on direct propagation throughout a building is to install leaky coaxial cable. Although this method lends itself to a systematic design procedure, the cost of the coax and its installation may be prohibitive. An alternative method of distributing RF in buildings is suggested by the recognition that every building i..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

by a CD4049 inverter gate, goes to logic 1 state. This pulse toggles the corresponding flip-flop to alternate state. The flip-flop output is used to drive a relay (RL2) which can switch on or switch off the appliance connected through its contacts. By dialing other digits in a similar way, other appliances can also be switched Ëœonâ„¢ or Ëœoff.â„¢
Once the switching operation is over, the 220-ohm loop resistance and 10kHz tone needs to be removed from the telephone line. To achieve this, digit ˜0™ (in DTMF mode) is dialed again to toggle flip-flop-1 to de-energise relay R..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]
