Brief theory – the process of translation of digital information into equivalent analog information is called as digital to analog conversion. Such converter is also called as decoding device. There are two types of such converters – the weighted resistor DAC and the R–2R ladder DAC.
The R–2R ladder (binary ladder) is a resistive network whose output voltage is a properly weighted sum of the digital inputs. It uses resistors of only two values, the R and the 2R, as shown in the above figure.
It has four digital inputs D, C, B and A with posi..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

for oscillations. It is the main component that determines the frequency of the clock and can be changed for adjusting the frequency. The diode in the circuit is used to rectify the AC signal, since negative voltages applied to the inputs of TTL ICs may damage them.
Schmitt trigger – it is a circuit, whose output changes state when the input is at specific threshold voltage levels. It is recognizable by the Hysteresis symbol on its logic symbol. For the Schmitt trigger inverter, when the input voltage reaches the upper threshold voltage (+Vsat) of +1.7V the output goes LOW. When the input ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

pace because the
heat-radiating fins had to be very long because of their
poor heat radiating efficiency.
In an effort to solve this problem, Furukawa Electric has
developed the PowerKicker that enables footprint reduction
regardless of being a natural convection type, and put
it into practical application. See Photo 1.

Conventional boiling cooling system as shown in Figure 1

such as ozone depletion and global warming because its
structure is such that heat-generating components ar..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

tional amplifier. Actually this audio signal is converted into electrical signal by the condenser mike. The resistances R2 and R3 (both of 10kΩ) are working as a voltage divider circuit for operational amplifier. This zero reference voltage is connected to IC 741 at pin 3 (non inverting input). The resistance R4 and R5 are used for biasing purpose. Positive 5 volts supply is connected to pin 7 & pin no 4 is connected to ground terminal of IC 741. Operational amplifier amplifies signal and give output at pin 6.
Operational amplifier has a feedback from pin 6 to pin 2 which inverting input thr..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

e past several years, an extensive wireless data network has been installed at Carnegie Mellon that provides coverage to about one half of the campus with raw speeds of two megabits per second. With more than 100 access points, it is believed to be the largest local area network (LAN) installation anywhere. The effort required to provide a detailed description of the geometry and material composition of buildings on such a scale often causes system designers to resort to trial-and-error layouts. An alternative to relying on direct propagation throughout a building is to install leaky coaxial c..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

output O10 (at pin 11) of IC2 (74154). The active low output of IC2, after inversion by an inverter gate of IC3 (CD4049), becomes logic 1. This is used to toggle flip-flop-1 (F/F-1) and relay RL1 is energised. Relay RL1 has two changeover contacts, RL1(a) and RL1(b). The energised RL1(a) contacts provide a 220-ohm loop across the telephone line while RL1(b) contacts inject a 10kHz tone on the line, which indicates to the caller that appliance mode has been selected. The 220-ohm loop on telephone line disconnects the ringer from the telephone line in the exchange. The line is now connected for..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]
