estion Control Algorithm for Tree-based Reliable Multicast Protocols

Abstract:

This project contains a detailed description of the congestion control algorithm of tree-based reliable multicast protocol. This algorithm takes advantage of regular acknowledgements from the receivers that propagate back to the sender via the repair tree. This scalable feedback mechanism is used to collect receiver credits. Complementing the windowing mechanism, packet transmission is smoothed by using a data rate commensurate with the window size. Additional details, such as how to prune slow receivers..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

internet telephone favour reliability than time. This factor makes the TCP factor a less preferred choice. Even the UDP network cannot make up to this level as it is in short of the congestion control. These congested controlled networks are usually causes great risk factors for the use of high bandwidth UDP applications. So naturally there was need for designing a congestion-controlled unreliable transport protocol. The result, Data gram Congestion Control Protocol or DCCP gets added to UDP like foundation the minimum mechanisms necessary to support congestion control. The resulting protocol ..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

1) Speak clearly and 'speak up' - project your voice without shouting at your audience
2) State the objectives, hypotheses and rationale of study right at the start of the talk

2). Reading from complete text - Listening to someone read a speech or presentation is hated by most people. People say, If that's all they were going to do is read their speech, I could have read it myself. I'm sure many of us have experienced this at least once while attending a conference or two. Below are some reasons why I believe people read poorly:

3). Using Notes - This is the most common way for remembering material. Using notes is better than reading since the speaker can have normal voice inflection and make more effective eye contact. If your notes ar..................[:=> Show Contents <=:]

ket to all of those of clients that requested it, and not to send multiple copies of a packet over the same portion of the network, nor to send packets to clients who don’t want it. Approach of this Tree-based reliable multicasting protocol (TRAM) is it resends the pending data packets to the receiver if any congestion in the actual path occurs. Pending Packets starts from the node where it was previously stored and that node becomes the CORE node.

The performance of the congestion control algorithm is then evaluated in extended LANs, and wide area networks. The fairness of bandwidth sharing with other (TCP) traffic is also evaluated.
