X-ray diffraction pattern of the ZnO films deposited
on the silica substrates is shown in Fig. 1b. This
also showed only a (002) peak of ZnO, confirming
the same c-axis-oriented growth as in the case of
ZnO films grown on the p-Si substrates. However
the FWHM of this peak was found to be about 0.36°,
which is slightly higher than that of the films grown
on the Si substrates, as expected.
